right to play – something i can get behind

logo_updated_topThere are a lot of charities out there – it is often difficult to differentiate them and / or to determine which are the hustlers and which are concealing an agenda.

However, if you have kids and you love to watch them play – then give a kid a chance to play again. Kids helped by RTP have seen some pretty horrific things and your donation can help them on the path to regaining a childhood.

  1. This was the charity of choice for NHL’er Zedo Chara, winner of the hardest shot competition…which won him a nice little donation to the Right to Play. That was the first I’d heard of it, but a few days later (early this week) I read that they were being boycotted for some sort of nefarious activity. Can’t find the story at the moment, can’t remember the specifics.

  2. About the only thing I could find in 30 seconds of googling was that the Vancouver Olympic Committee had banned Right to Play because they had taken sponsorhip from Mitsubishi Corporation. General Motors has an exclusive $67million sponsorship deal with VANOC.
