…the subject of some derision, and an insidious assault on the correct spelling of words like harbour and neighbour, microsoft’s dictionary has long been an annoyance to me.    So who checks the spell checkers

It turns out that much work is being done with context based natural language processing – so perhaps there is hope yet for the survival of ‘cheque’ after all.

  1. Even worse is the state of online translators….either tool are guides at best. Always best to have a second set of eyes look at stuff imo.
